Over 20 live baccarat tables running 24 hours a day, with professional dealers, uninterrupted HD streaming, and betting limits suited to all levels – from RM10 to RM50,000 per hand. This is baccarat the way it was meant to be played.
If there's one game that truly captures the atmosphere of a world-class casino, it's baccarat. In Malaysia, baccarat has long been the top choice among casino players – not just because it's easy to pick up, but because it offers some of the best odds of any casino game. At gmp99, we bring that experience directly to your phone or computer screen.
What sets baccarat at gmp99 apart? For starters, every baccarat table we offer is live – meaning you play against a real dealer streamed directly from a high-quality studio. No computer-generated games, no animations. Every card dealt is physical, and every move the dealer makes is yours to watch in crisp HD.
Gmp99 also understands that Malaysian players have different needs. Some are just starting out and don't want the pressure of high stakes. Others are seasoned players looking to bet big. That's exactly why we offer a full range of table categories – from standard tables with limits as low as RM10, all the way up to exclusive VIP tables with limits of up to RM50,000 per hand.
Third – and this is something we're most proud of – is the speed of the gmp99 platform. Our live baccarat video stream uses the latest technology to ensure zero lag and zero disruption, even when you're playing on a standard 4G connection in rural Sabah or Sarawak. A smooth gaming experience isn't a luxury – it's a basic standard that gmp99 guarantees every player.
One of the main reasons baccarat remains so popular is its remarkably low house edge compared to most other casino games. For the Banker bet, the house edge is just 1.06%. This means that for every RM100 wagered on Banker over the long run, an average of RM98.94 is returned to the player. Very few casino games can offer that kind of value.
Compared to slots where the house edge can exceed 5%, or American roulette at 5.26% — baccarat offers the best odds statistically. That doesn't guarantee a win, but your money will last longer at the baccarat table than at most other games.
At gmp99, we display live baccarat match statistics in real time – including recent result history in road map format (Big Road, Big Eye Boy, Small Road, Cockroach Pig) – so players who enjoy analysing trends can make decisions based on actual data.
Your game records and personal information are fully protected under gmp99's privacy policy. Your data is never shared with any third party without your consent.

This is an example of the road map display you'll see at every live baccarat table on gmp99. B = Banker win, P = Player win, T = Tie.
Based on the last 60 hands. These statistics are for illustration purposes only.

No 5% commission on Banker wins. Banker pays full 1:1, except when Banker wins with a 6 — in which case the payout is reduced to 0.5:1.
Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn. Despite its sophisticated image, it's actually simpler than blackjack or poker. Let us walk you through the basics so you can sit down at the table and play with confidence.
The goal of baccarat is straightforward – you predict whether the "Banker" hand or the "Player" hand will come closest to a value of 9. You're not playing against other players; you're simply betting on the outcome of the two hands.
Worth their face value. For example, a 7 card is worth 7 points.
All these cards are worth 0 – they are the "blank cards" of baccarat.
Worth only 1 point in baccarat.
Only the last digit counts. For example: a 7 and an 8 add up to 15, so the hand value is 5 (not 15).
Each round begins with the dealer drawing two cards for the Banker and two for the Player. If either side holds a value of 8 or 9 from the first two cards — known as a Natural — no third card is drawn. The side with the higher value wins.
If there is no Natural, the third card rule comes into effect. This is automatic — you don't need to make any decisions, as the dealer follows the predetermined rules. All you need to do is choose where to place your bet before the round begins: Banker, Player, or Tie.
| Bet Types | Payout | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker Wins | 1:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% |
| Player Wins | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
Statistically, Banker wins more often than Player. Even with the 5% commission, the Banker bet still offers the best odds in baccarat.
While the Tie payout looks attractive (8:1), its house edge sits at 14.36% — making it the riskiest bet on the table.
Decide on your win and loss limits before you start playing. Once either limit is reached, walk away. This is the single most important strategy you can use.
Road maps can help you spot patterns, but keep in mind — every hand is independent. There is no guaranteed winning system in baccarat.
Beyond classic baccarat, gmp99 offers a range of variants that keep every session fresh and exciting.

Bet the same amount every hand, always on Banker. This is the safest approach and the most beginner-friendly strategy at gmp99. It protects your bankroll while you get a feel for the game.
Betting sequence: 1 unit, 3 units, 2 units, 4 units. Win all four hands in a row and you're up 10 units. Lose at any point and you restart from 1 unit. This strategy is popular among experienced baccarat players in Malaysia.
Double your bet with each win and return to the base bet after a loss. The goal is to maximise winning streaks while protecting your bankroll from heavy losses.
Watch the road map and follow the pattern that's currently playing out. If Banker wins several times in a row, keep betting Banker. Only switch when the pattern changes. This strategy is a favourite among many Asian players.
Decide in advance that you will stop playing once you are up 50% from your starting bankroll, or once you have lost 30% of it. This is the most practical way to ensure you never walk away completely empty-handed.
Set a maximum session length for your baccarat play on gmp99 — for example, no more than 45 minutes. Take at least a 15-minute break between sessions to stay focused and make rational decisions.
